The University of Connecticut
School of Law solicits applications for an assistant/ associate clinical
professor of law to serve as a supervising attorney in the Intellectual
Property and Entrepreneurship Law Clinic beginning January 1, 2010. The
position is subject to the Law School's policy on long-term renewable contracts
for clinical faculty, which complies with ABA Standard 405(c).
An excellent academic record,
significant law practice and/or clinical teaching experience, demonstrated
research and writing ability, and membership in the Connecticut bar or the
ability to become a member within one year of hire, are required. The ideal
candidate will also have significant intellectual property experience, some
transactional business-lawyering experience, and be a member of the Patent Bar.
Salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
